Each year, hundreds gathered together to honor Congressman Parren J. Mitchell, the first African American elected to Congress from the state of Maryland. Our team was charged with managing and developing the foundation’s annual awards dinners, the primary platform for fundraising, branding and message dissemination.  We created outreach mechanisms, coordinated logistics, managed corporate sponsorship, VIP participation and the silent auctions. Our efforts more than doubled attendance.
