The Mount Rainier Business Association partnered with the Neighborhood Design Center and initiated the Mount Rainier Better Block Project. The initiative, sparked by a national movement originating in Dallas, TX, was a community-driven, one-day festival celebrating and showcasing a vision of the vibrant, pedestrian-friendly retail cluster.

 
 
 

Our team managed logistics, outreach and communications. We collaborated with artists, business owners, landscape architects and community activists. The activities culminated in a “live” demonstration of the area's business potential and resulted in permanent improvements to the town’s business district.

The facility is comprised of 2,730 sq.ft.; that includes five offices, common area facilities and an 816 sq.ft. gallery space. The gallery has multiple uses including exhibits, events and co-working space for affiliated members.
